Svarte Svaner started with a simple idea: what happens when you compress a cinema experience into an audio file?

We're five guys from different corners of Norway — from the urban blocks of Bogerud to the sheep farms of Rondane. Jonas on the mic, Ola on keys and banjo, Espen on bass, Chris on guitar and vocals, Marius behind the drums. When we play live, there are often more than ten of us on stage.

Our roots stretch throughout Norway — unifying the countryside with the asphalt jungle. Three albums, a stack of singles, and a vibe that doesn't fit in one genre. That's the point.
